LIVE IN THE COSTA DEL SOL

Inspection Visits

What is an Inspection Visit?

Inspection visits are four day trips to the Costa del Sol to view properties. They are designed for people with serious intentions to buy a property in the area. Thus, before you fly out, we discuss your requirements at some length, find out what you can realistically afford, and how you will finance the purchase if you find a property you really like. We do this because there is almost nothing more upsetting than walking into the property of your dreams and then finding that you cannot, in fact, afford to buy.

What happens on an Inspection Visit?

You are met at the airport by the person who will be looking after you during your visit and whisked away in air-conditioned comfort to settle in at your pleasant three star hotel. At your convenience, your representative collects you from your hotel and begins showing you properties we think might meet your requirements.

As you travel around, we discuss the areas and properties with you, outlining advantages and possible disadvantages, and listen to your views on what you are seeing and hearing. You will also see the range of facilities at each location and get a feel for the lifestyle provided by the local golf clubs, beaches, marinas, restaurants, shops, sporting and medical facilities. Depending on when you arrive, you will be taken out for lunch to a wonderful restaurant, so that you can sample the local cuisine and continue to find out about the Costa del Sol and all it has to offer you.

On the second and third day, your personal representative again collects you from your hotel at a time to suit you and continues to show you around the area. If there are properties you would like to see again, then we take you back to look again in more detail. You also have the opportunity to enjoy more lunches at the representative’s favourite restaurants!

In the evening, we drop you back at your hotel and suggest places you might like to visit for dinner and a night out. This gives you the opportunity to think about all you have seen during the day and to reach decisions about the property you would like to buy.

Usually our clients have found the right property by the third day and, during the remaining time, we introduce you to lawyers and anyone else you need to meet, to discuss how you secure the property and take it off the market. This usually involves a deposit of 6,000 euros.

At the end of your visit, we collect you from your hotel and take you back to the airport in time for your flight. Whilst most of our clients buy property during an Inspection Visit, a few do not. You can rest assured that, if we do not manage to find you the right property during your visit, we will wave good-bye with the same genuine smile and warmth as we welcomed you with when you arrived.

"You will be looked after extremely well whilst on your viewing trip. We ensure you will view the entire area and numerous properties in a relaxed and pleasant manner."
